How the process works

  1. First, contact the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen)
  2. Apply for a grant from Trygghetsfonden BAO / Finansförbundet
  3. Trygghetsfonden BAO / Finansförbundet provides consultancy support to review your business plan before the application is processed
  4. Your application is processed by Trygghetsfonden BAO / Finansförbundet

Important to know
If you are granted a start-your-own-business grant, this is treated as equivalent to a new permanent employment, and your case with Trygghetsfonden BAO / Finansförbundet will be closed.
