Additional compensation during full-time studies

Additional compensation for full-time studies provides you with financial support when you choose to pursue further education after being made redundant.

Compensation level 

• 80% of salary, up to SEK 31,323 per month
• Paid for a maximum of three months

Requirements

• The same basic requirements as those applicable for supplementary unemployment insurance compensation
• You must not simultaneously receive unemployment insurance compensation, severance pay, or equivalent compensation
• Full-time studies are required
• A certificate of participation is required for payment
• If you are not a member of an unemployment insurance fund: You may, after individual assessment, be granted an equivalent grant.

Payment

• The grant is paid at the earliest from the month of application
• The grant is not paid retroactively
